For most of you who have been following on my post, earlier last week,
I promised to post some pictures about my recent trip to Shanghai,China. For the Shanghai Expo 2010 and a quick visit to neighboring city of Hangzhou and Suzhou.
I cannot be posting all of them here as there are 360+pictures in total. So I will be posting a few. Feel free to click on the pictures to access the full gallery.
We did not manage to go to all of the pavilions because once you enter the expo, it feel like you have entered an ants nest. Everywhere you look there are people and they are busy running around looking for pavilions, looking at maps, eating, looking for a missing child, etc. Also not to mention, the queue is exceptionally long. The more famous pavilions like Japan, Germany, U.K and the Saudi Arabia Pavilion, just to name a few, the minimum queue time is at least 3 hours. You can do the math.
Here is a picture of the Queue outside the UK pavilion.
and this is what I meant about a Lot of People.
Some pictures within the Japan Pavilion.
Here are some pictures from the street parade we come across, but unfortunately it is already at the tail end of the parade. But still manage to get a few captures.
After a 3 days of hard walking(and a bit of running involved) and long queues, we took break and too the bullet train to the neighboring SuZhou for a relaxing day.
After a relaxing day in SuZhou, we traveled 2 hours by train to Hangzhou. A bustling city located outside of Shanghai. At the heart of the City lies the famous west lake or 西湖. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it was cloudy. so not too much pictures of the lake.
Well, that all folks. Visit my gallery if you like to see more pictures. To visit my Gallery, Click Here
