Split Tones = Split personality??

I had a copy of the nik software silver efex since Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.5, but I never got the chance to really fiddle with it. That’s because I have been too lazy to learn Black and White processing.

This morning, I decided to try out this plug-in and processed one of my pictures which I took while traveling in China last month.

Here is the original picture:

And this is the by product from the silver Efex pro plug-in

A Green filter was added to accentuate the trees  and used a Kodak Tri-x 400 film simulation for a bit of film grain effect.

For an extra bit of character, vignetting to burn of the corners and split tones was used.

Yes~~!!!  you heard me right. I am currently on a quest to photograph the most beautiful flowers known in Malaysia and I need the help of all netizens to let me know where I can find these.
